Dr. Melissa Lin was born and raised in the south Bay Area. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at UC Berkeley, and graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry with honors. She continued her post-graduate training at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, where she served our veterans and received her General Practice Residency certificate.
Dr. Lin found dentistry as her calling because it is a unique intersection of science, art, and problem solving that allows her the privilege of getting to help people every day. She enjoys learning more about each of her patients, and believes in collaborating to create a treatment plan that achieves your goals. She strives to provide the best and most minimally invasive treatment possible. To achieve this, her primary objective is to help patients understand their oral health and treatment options so you can make fully informed decisions.
In her free time, Dr. Lin loves exploring the great outdoors at our national parks and is an avid fan of the Warriors and Sharks. You can catch her enjoying a good novel in a café, working out at Orangetheory, or trying new restaurants with her fiancé Michael. She is also always looking for new recommendations on books and podcasts.
